You’d think the Earth’s thermostat was broken in 2016 and it’s just been running wild since. But if you’ve ever cracked open a geology book—or paid attention in 6th grade science—you’ll know the climate has never been on cruise control.
Yet here we are in 2025, with world leaders flying private jets to summits where they wag their fingers about your gas stove and cow emissions. All the while, they ignore the actual data—and the millions of years of natural, cyclical climate shifts that came long before your Ford F-150.
So, let’s clear the smog and break this down.
The Earth Has Never Had a "Normal" Climate
Let’s start with the basics:
The climate has always changed. It’s not a glitch. It’s not a bug. It’s a feature.
Ice ages, warming periods, volcanic winters, Medieval Warm Periods, Little Ice Ages—sound familiar? They should. They all happened before fossil fuels.
The Earth has seen both global warming and global cooling—and not a single coal plant was to blame for the last glacial maximum 20,000 years ago.
"Climate Catastrophe?" Let’s Talk Historical Extremes
Consider these inconvenient truths:
- Manhattan was buried under a mile of ice during the last Ice Age, completely underwater and millions of years ago, it was connected to Africa before being sent adrift like your ex on moving day.
- Around 1,000 years ago, the Medieval Warm Period warmed parts of Europe and Greenland so much that Vikings farmed land that’s now frozen tundra.
- The Little Ice Age that followed (roughly 1300–1850) saw the Thames River freeze solid and New York Harbor ice thick enough to walk across.
These shifts happened long before the Industrial Revolution or ExxonMobil.
Funny how climate activists skip those chapters.
Follow the Carbon… or Follow the Money?
If climate change were purely a scientific debate, we’d be talking about sun cycles, plate tectonics, and volcanic output. But instead, it’s become a weaponized narrative to justify:
- Carbon taxes (translation: higher prices for everything)
- "Climate emergency" powers (translation: less freedom, more bureaucracy)
- ESG mandates (translation: woke policies wrapped in green packaging)
And let’s not forget, the same people screaming about climate doom in 2020 are the ones who said New York would be underwater by 2015. Oops.
Is Climate Change Real? Yes. But That’s Not the Whole Story.
Let’s not be ridiculous. The climate is always changing. That’s the point.
The real question is: how much of it is human-caused and how much is just Earth doing what Earth has always done?
Spoiler alert: There’s still a lot of debate among scientists—real scientists who don’t rely on government grants or UN speaking gigs.
So What Should You Do?
Here at Wasted Ape Survival, we don’t panic. We prepare.
We don’t trust unelected bureaucrats with god complexes. We trust data, common sense, and self-reliance.
Because whether it’s wildfires, floods, or rolling blackouts from "green energy" pipe dreams—you can’t count on the government to save you.
You have to your own first responder and to take care of yourself when disaster strikes.
